How does squad billing work in the competitive program?
Our Competitive Program fees are structured to offer flexibility while maintaining consistency for families and coaches throughout the year. This article is provided for quick reference, and may be out of date. Please refer to the Competitive Program Handbook which is regularly updated for the most up to date and correct information.
๐ How Billing Works
Fees are spread evenly over 25 fortnightly payments (covering 50 calendar weeks), but are based on 47 weeks of training. This means that 5 weeks of holidays or missed sessions are already built into the yearly fee, and you wonโt be charged extra during short breaks.
๐ Planned Holidays (Over 4 Weeks)
If your athlete will be away for more than 4 weeks, we ask that you:
- Give at least 2 weeks' written notice in advance.
- In this case, we can apply a 50% discount to tuition fees for the time they are away.
๐ฉบ Injury or Medical Leave
If your child is injured or unwell and will be away for more than 7 consecutive days, weโre happy to apply a credit for the period missed, provided you:
- Supply a medical certificate (ideally including a safe return-to-training date for safety purposes).
- Credits unfortunately cannot be applied for absences shorter than 7 days.
โ๏ธ January Holiday Period Exception
During the January holiday period, we offer extra flexibility:
- For athletes taking more than one consecutive week off, we will waive the fees entirely for the period they are away.
- Please provide two weeks written notice in advance to competitions@activegym.com.au
๐ Make-Up Sessions
In some cases, depending on coach availability and training schedules, we may be able to offer a make-up session on another day. Please contact reception to see whatโs possible.
