What are the processing fees charged through the customer portal?

Payments through our customer portal may attract a small processing fee whilst going through the payment processor. The latest transaction fees are displayed in a blue box before checking out on the portal, however, at the time of writing this article are as follows:

These fees are correct at time of publishing, but can change. Please check the customer portal for the latest fees.

E-Check (Bank Transfer) $0.88 (please use BSB & account number)
Credit/Debit Card Transaction Fee (per transaction) $0.33
Visa / Mastercard (calculated on transaction value) 1.98%
American Express (calculated on transaction value) 3.85%
Data Storage and Compliance (only once per new record) $0.33

Bank Transfer / Direct Deposit is the cheapest method via the customer portal, with a $0.88 fee. See How do I add a card or account for re-occurring (automatic) payments for more information on adding a bank account.

Alternatively, we can also take payment over the phone or in person via our card reader or cash, which attracts no processing fees.
